what is god for you?
mig. in the video you were asked what god is for you. is there something you wish to add?
kah. with anything, you think more after-the-fact and for me god is an important character that I use as a benchmark for reason. i don’t use god as an excuse, i don’t use god as a last resort but perhaps, in a quiet moment, i must admit that I use god as a compass.
mig. is the word god controversial for you? if yes why?
kah. i think god has always been controversial, the word “controversial” means a state of prolonged public dispute or debate. i challenge anyone to name a longer debate among the societies.
mig. do you think of religion when you hear the word god? if yes, why?
kah. yes, as many religions have a god-like character as their central voice or justification.
mig. do you believe everything happens for a reason, or are we the reason why things happen?
kah. i do believe everything happens for a reason and i do believe there are elements beyond control and i even think perhaps there is a “checks and balances” system but at the same time i also believe you are the only reason things can be different from an ill-fate - changing the stars, as they say.
mig. define love. what does love mean for you?
mig. do you think love is something all life forms share?
kah. yes as a component but not as a requirement.
mig. what in your opinion can make a relationship last a whole lifetime?
kah. unconditional commitment to the idea of 'us'.
mig. what have you learned about life so far?
kah. to continue the questioning and searching, and be nice along the way.
mig. how would you describe us/humanity today?
kah. influenced too heavily by people / cultures who are thinking far too little and are seemingly famous for it.
