that we are all spiritual beings encased in physical human bodies in search of ultimate freedom, in search of love.

mig. in the video you were asked what god is for you. is there something you wish to add?
jm. god to me is energy, light, god is the universe, god is love.

mig. is the word god controversial for you? if yes why?
jm. yes, the word can always spark controversy depending on the context in which it is used; as any word which has been used to control and marginalise people would.

mig. do you think of religion when you hear the word god? if yes, why?
jm. religion is ritual and the word brings about thoughts of confinement and even oppression. god is freedom. i prefer to identify as a spiritual individual rather than a religious one; the spirit does not need ritual as much as it needs to be free.

mig. do you believe everything happens for a reason, or are we the reason why things happen?
jm. i believe we all have control of our destinies by ways of our actions, actions of the past affect our present, the actions of the present will affect our future. the key is to break what could potentially turn out to be a never ending cycle.

mig. define love. what does love mean for you?
jm. love is the closest thing to god.

mig. do you think love is something all life forms share?
jm. i do. all life forms develop from love as the base of all creation; creation which comes from the universe, the source, god.

mig. what in your opinion can make a relationship last a whole lifetime?
jm. i believe we hold the key to unlock our own destinies in love, however, when it comes to human relationships, i believe understanding is a big part.

mig. what have you learned about life so far?
jm. i have learned to feel. the energy of god is within us all, it is the feeling to elevate and break free to unlock our destinies, to reach our own individual goals. myself, as an artist, i believe this feeling is what influenced me to pursue my dreams and my own happiness in this way; to find the beauty in things, to witness love.

mig. how would you describe us/humanity today?
jm. i think there is still much for us to learn, however we are preoccupied by things which hold little meaning, if any at all. in this new age of information we are driven by image; we go about observing, attempting to see in order to believe when in reality all it takes to believe is to feel.
