philosophy.
the world is not enough, really, for the rent we have to pay to live in the USA.

mig. in the video you were asked what god is for you. is there something you wish to add?
zd. i think the farther you look in, the farther you see, and the farther you look out, the farther you see.
i think that god is an element within us, is an element of us, collectively, and an element beyond us, as in the universe. god is another word, or another manifestation, of consciousness.

mig. is the word god controversial for you? if yes why?
zd. no, but it's a word that's abused and used as a weapon of bigotry far too often.

mig. do you think of religion when you hear the word god? if yes, why?
zd. yes, i suppose. i don't choose the word "god," i'd rather talk about other things - god is well charted territory.

mig. do you believe everything happens for a reason, or are we the reason why things happen?
zd. i believe this has all happened already.

mig. define love. what does love mean for you?
zd. love is being able to accept another person for exactly who they are, without trying to change them.

mig. do you think love is something all life forms share?
zd. no. there are psychopaths among us who don't feel anything.

mig. what in your opinion can make a relationship last a whole lifetime?
zd. i think every moment lasts a lifetime. i think every moment is a lifetime. i mean, i think that we experience time moving forward, but that it also exists laterally, it's just a series of present moments. i think that we all change from one moment to the next, and that our conceptions of love are really antiquated in a 19th century or victorian model, of living in a village, not changing, remaining in place for the duration of your life. that's no longer realistic, we become so many different people in our lifetimes. the ability to move in the same direction with another person is rare.

mig. what have you learned about life so far?
zd. that it can give you a really debilitating headache quite regularly.

mig. how would you describe us/humanity today?
zd. circling the edge of a black hole.
