what is god for you?
mig. in the video you were asked what god is for you. is there something you wish to add?
mig. is the word god controversial for you? if yes why?
rcb. it has a little controversy, it's very politicised by all the different religions. the historical stand off between religions might be natural, but when it turned violent or deadly is when it becomes controversial.
mig. do you think of religion when you hear the word god? if yes, why?
rcb. i do not think of religion when i hear the word god because god is bigger than religion and free from the structure of religion.
mig. do you believe everything happens for a reason, or are we the reason why things happen?
rcb. it could be a little bit of both. for the biggest part i think we are the reason why things happen. but really i think that i do not know.
mig. define love. what does love mean for you?
rcb. sacrifice, selflessness, forgiving and understanding.
mig. do you think love is something all life forms share?
rcb. i think love is an essence that every life form could feel yes.
mig. what in your opinion can make a relationship last a whole lifetime?
rcb. i don't tend to think that people are meant to be together forever, because it's many facets of a person, and many you's over your life. it's often times that the person you fell in love with, is not the person you need 15 years later.
mig. what have you learned about life so far?
rcb. life is the result of a series of decisions. life is fleeting, not guaranteed. life is what you make it.
mig. how would you describe us/humanity today?
rcb. i feel that we're neither here, nor there. it might feel very chaotic, and people aren't caring about each other so much, but people could have thought that 5.000 years ago as well. our time is too short in the grander scale to really say that.
