what is god for you?
mig. in the video you were asked what god is for you. is there something you wish to add?
mc. i have to think about that; i really think there should be much more unity of all spirituality in general..between the pope and buddha for example. i'm not necessarily referring to a union between the two but they should talk more, communicate more; like the united nations of religion. the message after all is the same, in every single religion. okay, one doesn't eat pork in friday, one doesn't eat meat on wednesday, but there is always the same constant message behind it. we should take away the superficiality and focus more on the spirituality, and on what is really important.
mig. is the word god controversial for you? if yes why?
mc. it is controversial, because there is a lot of nonsense within the different religions.
mig. do you think of religion when you hear the word god? if yes, why?
mc. not necessarily.
mig. do you believe everything happens for a reason, or are we the reason why things happen?
mc. good question. i believe everything happens for a reason. but it's also true that we can make things happen, it's like a cat biting its tail.
mig. define love. what does love mean for you?
mc. love is a feeling.
mig. do you think love is something all life forms share?
mc. i think it should be, it not necessarily is, but it should be.
mig. what in your opinion can make a relationship last a whole lifetime?
mig. what have you learned about life so far?
mc. i learned that life is full of surprises, it changes on you so much. life will always turn on you, in a good or bad way, and you just have to overcome the problems, open your mind to your beloved ones and strangers as well. what i learned most is that you never know the answer; it's a constant searching of yourself, your work, your family, searching for the formula to make it happen and to be happy. because in the end we all want to be happy and that's the ultimate goal.
mig. how would you describe us/humanity today?
mc. well if you take for example computers, the constant upgrades, it gives us this feeling that we need to constantly be ahead of ourselves, what's next? what's next? and as soon as you get something you need something else. i feel humanity is kind of unsatisfied, especially in our culture. oriental cultures are different, they live in a different reality.
