mig. in the video you were asked what god is for you. is there something you wish to add?
ec. for me there is no god, but i think that there is something beyond our physical body. god for me is energy surrounding us; it is not a divinity, but a positive energy.

mig. is the word god controversial for you? if yes why?
ec. yes, because there are so many different concepts of god and religions that i think it is a little narrow minded to consider god in only one way, or one word. there are so many different ways of worshiping or understanding, that i think it is difficult to consider the word god in one way.

mig. do you think of religion when you hear the word god? if yes, why?
ec. no, personally, no.

mig. do you believe everything happens for a reason, or are we the reason why things happen?
ec. i personally believe in faith. if something is meant to happen it will happen. for example i met a guy three days ago in a shop, and we had a little chat, and i didn't get his name or his number, but i just knew i was going to meet him again and see him again, and the day after we saw each other. We chatted again and exchanged details and i knew it would happen; i could feel it would happen.

mig. define love. what does love mean for you?
ec. for me, love is the encounter of two lost souls.

mig. do you think love is something all life forms share?
ec. i think there are different kinds of love. for example, with humans you can experience deep love or long lasting love; you think it will last forever and then you break up and experience a new different love; so i don't know.

mig. what in your opinion can make a relationship last a whole lifetime?
ec. mutual understanding.

mig. what have you learned about life so far?
ec. going to canada and now living in new york, i have learnt life is the best thing you can experience. i mean, i felt really depressed before coming here and i had a bit of a break down; i was feeling negative, thinking i would do nothing with my life, then i come here and see wow! the world is so wide and it is wide open to me, and now i just feel like life is just waiting for me to come and get it.

mig. how would you describe us/humanity today?
ec. for me humanity is hope.
